SUMMARY of Agile Scrum

The EXIN Scrum site offers a wealth of information about Agile principles and the Scrum framework. Take a look at our latest blog or the pages below for more information about the program.

What is Agile?

Agile is a set of methods and practices that were originally intended for Software Development. It first became known after 12 software development gathered together and wrote the Manifesto for Agile Software Development. Over the past decade however, Agile has increasingly been adopted across organizations as a response to the demand of rapidly-changing and turbulent marketplace.

What is Scrum?

Scrum is one of the most widely used agile frameworks. It is a way of organizing work for a Scrum team using a set of artifacts, practices, and roles. A Scrum team consists of a development team, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner.

Are there any entry requirements for EXIN certifications?

For Foundation there are no entry requirements. You can take this exam without any prior experience. All that you need to do is invest some time in self-study and take the exam online. It is also possible to find a training provider and follow a training. For Master and Product Owner, you need to have successfully passed the Foundation exam. This is because the material covered in these certifications is of an advanced level.
